Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the services provided by My
Local Cleaning ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to the customer ("Customer,"
"you," or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms
and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
We offer domestic cleaning services as outlined in the service agreement or as
discussed with you. Specific details of the services provided will be agreed upon at the
time of booking.
3. Booking and Scheduling
3.1. All services must be booked in advance, subject to availability.
3.2. A minimum notice of 24 hours is required for any booking or scheduling changes.
3.3. If you need to reschedule or cancel a booking, please contact us directly at
info@mylocalcleaning.co.uk.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1. Prices for our services will be as quoted at the time of booking.
4.2. Payment is due when the invoice is received unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3. We accept cash, credit and debit card, bank
transfer, online payment.
4.4. Late payments may delay the start of the job or result in cancellation.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
5.1. You may cancel or reschedule your service without charge if you provide at least
48 hours' notice.
5.2. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled service, a cancellation fee may
apply.
5.3. Refunds will only be issued in cases where the service was not provided. We offer
a 7-day guarantee to return and rectify any unsatisfactory work.
6. Access to Premises
6.1. You agree to provide access to your property at the scheduled time. If we are
unable to access the property, we will need to reschedule or cancel, and a fee may
apply.
6.2. If a key is provided, it will be stored securely and used only for the purpose of
providing the agreed services.
7. Service Guarantee
7.1. We strive to provide high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with
the service provided, please contact us within 7 days of the service, and we will
arrange a re-clean at no additional cost.
7.2. The re-clean service must be conducted within 7 days of the original service, with
no new occupants in the property and no workers such as painters, plumbers, or other
contractors.
8. Liability
8.1. We are insured for damage or loss to property caused by our cleaning staff. Any
claims must be reported on the day of the service.
8.2. We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or issues with your property.
8.3. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the service
provided, except in cases of proven negligence.
9. Health and Safety
9.1. Our cleaning staff will follow all relevant health and safety regulations while on
your property. However, we advise customers to be out of the property during the
work being carried out.
9.2. Please inform us of any health and safety hazards present or damages on your
property before the service begins.
10. Customer Responsibilities
10.1. You agree to remove any valuable, fragile, or hazardous items from the areas to
be cleaned.
10.2. Pets must be secured or removed from the cleaning area during the service.
11. Termination
11.1. Either party may terminate this Agreement with 2 days' written notice.
11.2. We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if you breach any
of the Terms and Conditions or engage in inappropriate behavior toward our staff.
12. Privacy
12.1. We respect your privacy and will protect your personal information in
accordance with applicable laws.
12.2. Your personal information will be used solely for the purpose of providing our
services and will not be shared or stored with third parties without your consent.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
14. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes
will be communicated to you in writing and will take effect immediately upon such
notice.
